Omegi-tteok is a traditional rice cake of Jeju Island. It is made of glutinous millet and flour boiled in hot water and then rolled in bean powder and mashed red beans. Mugwort is sometimes used for natural flavor and color. Omegi-tteok looks rough outside but is a delightfully chewy snack with a delicious blend of soft, nutty, sweet flavor.
