Autumn (September–November) remains warm, with generally comfortable conditions for exploring the countryside and coastal areas, although rainfall and typhoons are still possible in early autumn. Winter (December–February) is mild and relatively dry compared with other parts of Taiwan, making it an ideal time for sightseeing, cycling, and enjoying Pingtung’s outdoor attractions without the intense summer heat.
