Visit the iconic 7-storey Pagoda
Overlooking the scenic Rajang River, Tua Pek Kong is an old seven-story pagoda in Sibu Town, Sarawak. Built in the last decade of the 19th century, the temple is the oldest and best-preserved Chinese pagoda here. Tua Pek Kong is one of the iconic sites as a part of most Sibu town tour due to its long-lasting history, beautiful Chinese architecture as well as featured aesthetics. Visiting here, tourists not only indulge in the serene ambiance of a Taoist temple but also can admire the views of the river and the Sibu waterfront, especially in the sunset, after climbing to the top of the seven-story pagoda.
