Snorkeling in Tulamben
On the less-visited north-east coastline of Bali island lies the small fishing village of Tulamben, a perfect place for family holidays and nature-close excursions. With impressive black sand beaches, crystal clear sea water, and stunning underwater life, this area is best known for many water-based activities, especially snorkeling. The most popular site is Bali’s world-famous wreck, the USAT Liberty. Though the ship rests about 30 meters deep, a big part of it is visible for snorkelers with a blooming coral garden and attractive sea life around. Tourists can also check out other excellent sites such as Tulamben Coral Garden (great for novice snorkelers), Jemeluk coral bay or Japanese Ship wreck.
