Take a longtail boat on Chiew Lan Lake
Chiew Lan Lake is an emerald gem of Khao Sok National Park which is also one of the most stunningly beautiful places of interest in Thailand. Located in the heart of the park in Surat Thani province, this 165-square-km lake was created artificially in 1987 as the source of energy for Rajjaprapha Dam. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and dense evergreen rainforest, Chiew Lan Lake is home to the vast array of wild animals that you can frequently spot during your discovery. The best way of exploring the lake is getting on a longtail boat trip throughout the waterways.
