Xieng Khouang UXO Survivor Information Centre
The UXO Survivor Information Centre is run by the Quality of Life Association, a non-profit organization registered in Xieng Khouang that provides services and support for UXO survivors and people with disabilities. Through the Center, visitors will learn more about the secret war in Laos as well as the impact of UXO on Laotian people and communities until today. A small exhibition including bomb parts, various programs and harrowing stories about some of the victims who received their help, will show you how the Center tries to help survivors move on after a UXO accident. Besides, it also includes a small colorful shop selling handicrafts made by UXO survivors and UXO affected communities. The proceeds will go towards UXO survivors and the ongoing projects to support more people.
