Admire the Magnificent Giant Three Gorges Dam
Crossing over the fabled Yangtze River, the world's third-longest river, Three Gorges Dam is a giant hydroelectric dam located in Yichang City of China. Started in 1994 then basically completed and fully functional in 2012, it is one of the world’s largest hydropower constructions in terms of the installed capacity as well as its scale and the length of reservoir.
