Asian-African Conference Museum
Held in Bandung in April 1955, the Asian-African Conference was a great success in formulating common concerns and establishing operational guidance for cooperation among 29 mostly newly independent Asian and African nations. And during the 25th anniversary of the Conference, its original venue, Gedung Merdeka (Freedom Hall), has been turned into a small museum, called Museum of the Asian-African Conference. The displays inside are mostly related to the conference, such as photos during the conferences, country profiles of the member, and diorama on the opening of the 1955 event. Visitors can also learn about the history, social, politics and cultures of these countries from a supporting library and an audio visual room.
