Batu Cermin Cave
Batu Cermin, or Mirror Rock, is a cave or tunnel located in a stone hill of Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. What makes it special is when sunlight comes in through a crevice in the roof and then bounces, the sparkling occurs. The cave walls reflect other areas inside the cave like a mirror as the cave was believed to be underwater thousands of years ago with many corals and fossils of marine animals found. Beside this visual delight, Batu Cermin is a fantastic place to enjoy the excellent panoramic view of the surrounding mainland and the islands. And if you’re lucky enough, you can spot long-tailed monkeys and wild boars in the forest nearby.
