Bear Care Program at Phnom Tamao wildlife rescue center in Phnom Penh
Phnom Tamao wildlife rescue center is the largest zoo in Cambodia that is also home to the world's largest group of sun bears and moon bears. Covering an area of over 10 hectares, the bear sanctuary now helps more than 100 rescued bears with many education zones for general visitors. Joining a Bear Care tour, you will have a day in the center to learn about the bears, the center’s work and visit some other rescued animals. A park guide will travel around with you, tell you the backstories about the center, the animals, and the programs to help care for bears. You will also prepare food and special treats for the bears with the Bear Care Team as well as see the happy bears enjoying their meals. By partaking in these activities, you’re giving a hand to build a brighter future for the bears and other animals. What a unique experience!
