Champey Academy of Arts (CAA) is a non-profit school founded in 2013 with the mission of introducing Phnom Penh youngers to their country’s rich arts and culture as well as providing them free training in Cambodian traditional arts. Students may have the opportunity to learn and master difficult skills in three fields:  music, dance, drawing and painting. Tourists are able to visit the classes and tour around the school from Monday to Saturday (7.30 - 11.00 AM and 1.30 - 5.00 PM). Talking with Champey staff, you will understand more about the mission of this center as well as the Cambodian traditional arts and culture that these enthusiastic youngers are trying to protect, preserve, and promote. You can also support the school by buying unique and high-quality items or the students’ paintings at the premises’ souvenir shop.
