Explore Fairy & Wind Caves
Just an hour’s drive from Kuching, Fairy Cave and Wind Cave are two unusual caverns offering spectacular views of the limestone. The Fairy Cave is a 3-storey high chamber that is full of splendid stalactites and stalagmites in different formations like The Goddess of Mercy or an old man crouching down. Not far from Fairy Cave is the Wind Cave, named for the constant cooling breeze that blows through it. Walking along the platform, you will see a dark-tunnel like cave filled with bats and swiftlets. You can also get a glimpse of the Sarawak River from the entrance. Both caves have plankwalks to help visitors explore the passage and you will need a torchlight as the caves are really dark.
