Magpupungko Natural Pools in Siargao
Hidden away on the east coast of the island, Magpupungko Natural Pools is one of the most popular tourist attractions that can’t be missed on your island adventure in Siargao, Philippines. Just a 45-minute drive from General Luna, the main tourist area on the island, through smooth roads with endless views of palm trees, you will find these natural tidal pools exposed during low tide and submerged at high tide, so make sure to check out the tidal times before your visit. With the incredibly crystal clear blue water, these tidal pools surrounded by huge rocks become an awesome spot for hours of swimming and cliff jumping. If you’re not into those, there is still a ton of adventure to explore at the rock pools such as discovering different coves above and below the surface, swimming through small caves or under ledges. You can also spend time walking on the beautiful long sandy stretch of Magpupungko Beach or taking a refreshing drink at restaurants nearby.
