Yeh Pulu Temple
If you'd prefer to visit a temple that don't see a ton of tourists, take a short walk from the mysterious Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) along rice fields and through a small village, you will arrive at the peaceful and quiet Yeh Pulu Temple. It is not a temple actually but an archaeological heritage site with a Ganesh statue, making it a worshiping place for local people. Yeh Pulu is most famous for its 25-meter stretch of beautiful reliefs carved out of the rock hillside, depicting real life in the forest and everyday life in ancient Bali. The figures are much more natural and vivid than other Balinese carvings. Besides the rock carvings, you will also find a holy well in the center that supplies holy water for the blessing rite.
