"Visit the extensive network of Cu Chi Tunnels"

Located about 70 kilometres northwest of Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi Tunnels is an amazing getaway where tourists, especially veterans and history buffs, explore about the underground life of local Vietnamese during the wartime against the French and the American. The attraction is a marvellous complex of more than 120 km of underground tunnels served as hospitals, hideouts, kitchens, storage facilities, and command centres, etc. Touring to the place, visitors will watch a short film of the tunnels before experiencing a small section of the system which has been cemented and widened. You can also join in the activities in the shooting range where you see and try an M16 or AK practice.

Saigon street food is nutritious and diverse which can satisfy your appetite at any time of the day. Take a walk along the streets and you will find plenty of street food carts, roadside eateries and food stalls at vibrant local markets. You can enjoy not only authentic street eats such as pho noodle, banh mi, ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk), banh xeo, but also many exotic dishes originated from neighbouring countries. If you have a chance to travel to Ho Chi Minh, tour around the famous streets such as Co Giang (District 1), Nguyen Thuong Hien (District 3) or Vinh Khanh (District 4) and try a lot of delicacies for a real taste of the city.

If you would like to get close up to the local, it is nice to take a walk on Nguyen Hue street and have a look at the daily life of the locals.

"Oc (Vietnamese snails and shellfish)"

Snail is one of the best street food in Ho Chi Minh City, especially among young people. You can find plenty of roadside stalls and eateries opened in the late afternoon with dozens of raw or cooked snails and shell types such as clams, blood cockles, crabs and shrimp displayed out front. Choose some kinds that make you fancy, let the owner know how you want them to be cooked (steamed, grilled, curried or sauteed) and just wait to enjoy your huge feast.

"Bun Thit Nuong"

A great alternative to pho or com dishes in Saigon, Bun Thit Nuong is found throughout the city and favoured by diners of all ages. A bowl of Bun Thit Nuong will feature rice vermicelli noodles, grilled pork shoulder and an assortment of toppings such as fresh lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumber slices, pickled vegetables, peanuts, mint and basil. A side of mixed fish sauce will be served to make the bowl more flavourful.
