Hidden Lagoon Coron
As its name would suggest, the Hidden Lagoon in Coron is a secret and secluded spot just a 10-minute boat ride from Kayangan Lake. Although today there are more tourists journeying here as an inclusion in the island hopping tours around the island, the site is still alluring for swimmers. To get to the inner lagoon, visitors can climb up and down a stairwell embedded in the rocks or swim through the narrow hole below the stair that is visible during low tide. The entire lagoon appears completely walled in by a beautiful setting of towering limestones. But the amazing thing is its dark turquoise water, often called thermocline water. Once you take a dip in, you will feel the change of temperature of the water, a medling of cold deep water and warmer surface water, making it a unique experience you absolutely cannot miss in Coron.
