"Excellent Tour of Vietnam and Cambodia in April 2025"

Me and my partner are a couple from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. Some years ago, we started a tradition of doing an annual "big" trip to celebrate our birthdays, which are both in April. We also prefer to do private tours rather than join with big groups.

In August of 2024, we started to plan our 2025 birthday trip and we settled on Asia as the region given that we had never travelled there before. We zoned in on Vietnam and Cambodia based on the good reports we got from friends who had previously visited these countries. The planning begun with a general search of the internet for private tour operators for Vietnam/Cambodia. Asia Tours came up high up in the search, and they immediately caught our interest due to their excellent website layout and content.

We sent out a general inquiry to Asia Tours on the 29th August 2024 and we received a reply from their representative (Ms. Lacey Bui) on the 30th August 2024! Within the next few weeks, Lacey acted as our customer service representative (very personalized service) and she was able to propose a full 16 day/15 night itinerary in April 2025 that completely met our requirements including places of interests, accommodations, and transport. She even asked about our food allergies! Lacey always responded to our (many) clarifications no later that the next business day, and she was always able to customize the itinerary without any fuss while maintaining the budget. Making payments to Asia Tours was a simple online process using credit cards.

Prior to our arrival to Vietnam, we were provided with all the information regarding our tours, internal flights, hotel bookings, and the names and contact number for our guides. We were also given proper guidelines relating to currencies, how to cross the roads in the cities (no joke, very important, with all the thousands of motorbikes!), weather, and other (seemingly) little things that, if ignored, could negatively affect one's enjoyment in these countries. Lacey also provided her mobile number for us to have WhatsApp contact with her throughout our visit.

Our 11-day Vietnam tour started in Ho Chi Minh City and thereupon to Danang, Hoi-An/Hue, Hanoi, and finally Halong Bay. We then flew to Cambodia for a 4-day visit to Siem Reap to see the wonderful Angkor Wat temple complex and the other attractions in the area. We flew back to Ho Chi Minh City ( as this was our departing point) and spent the last day just hanging around and soaking up the last of Vietnamese culture and hospitality. Lacey even arranged to visit us at our hotel that last day and brought us a gift bag from Asia Tours as a departing gift! What a lovely gesture!

We can confirm that our tour arrangements went without any problems or issues. The accommodations were of very good standards, the tours and sightseeing activities were excellent, and the transportation and flights arrangements were safe and comfortable.

Also of importance, our three guides in Vietnam and one guide in Cambodia were all great! They collected us promptly at the various airports and hotels, performed their tour duties professionally, were very personable and accommodating, and provided great advice on restaurants and souvenir shopping.

Furthermore, Lacey regularly checked in with us to provide information on the guides and generally to ensure that we were comfortable and satisfied. Ms. Lacey Bui was indeed a good ambassador and credit to Asia Tours!

Based on our experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Asia Tours as a top class operator for arranging tours in Vietnam and Cambodia.

In closing, we would like to say that we were happy to have chosen Vietnam and Cambodia as our 2025 birthday destinations......genuinely warm and polite people, delicious food, diverse and interesting places to visit, decent infrastructure, and affordable prices..... and we have been left with great memories!
