Explore the stunning and wild beauty of cascading Pagsanjan falls

About 2.5hrs drive to the south of Manila, Pagsanjan falls in Laguna province is an inviting place for those who are into natural beauty. Arriving the fall, a riverside resort will provide a "banca" (a traditional Filipino canoe) for the trip to the falls. Be prepared to get wet, water runs deep and strong in the Pagsanjan River, benevolent at times but not manageable during the stormy weather when rain prods white-water mass racing downstream. The boat ride involves navigating through lush landscapes, narrow gorges, and exciting rapids. The boatmen, known as "bangkeros," skillfully guide the boats through the river. At the falls, you may opt to ride a bamboo raft that will take you underneath the waterfalls to experience the thunderous cascade of water.
