Bali Butterfly Park
Bali Butterfly Park (or Taman Kupu-Kupu in Balinese) is a beautiful park and conservation facility in the Tabanan regency that focuses on research, breeding, and conservation of butterflies. This huge ground is home to hundreds of different types of butterflies that you can see colorfully fluttering about when you pass through the tropical gardens with winding tracks and little bridges. Inside the center, you will find a huge collection of rare species of butterflies and insects in informative displays as well as a museum-type room with glass boxes and display cabinets of crawlies and butterfly specimens. Another highlight is the room of metamorphosis where you learn in detail about a butterfly’s life, from an egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, to butterfly. If you are traveling with kids, this family-friendly park is surely one of the best places to visit during your time in Bali.
