Tanah Lot temple
Located in Tabanan regency, Pura Tanah Lot is one of the most venerated sea temples to the Balinese as well as a hugely popular tourist icon in Indonesia. The temple is famed for its unique offshore settings as it sits on a large offshore rock though some parts are actually cleverly artificial rock due to the conservation in 1980. If you’re into photography, this temple is a very photogenic destination for amazing sunset shots with absolutely breathtaking backdrops, however, expect more crowds during this time. You can walk over to Tanah Lot temple at low tide, but non-Balinese people are not allowed to enter. You can also visit other neighboring temples or enjoy many well-managed leisure facilities for visitors such as clean paved walkways, a set of Balinese art & souvenir shops, restaurants, safety services, a tourist information center, a parking area, etc.
