Cycling around the World Heritage Site of Jatiluwih
Jatiluwih rice terraces is most famous for its dramatic landscapes, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site beautifully lies under the Batukaru mountain range. It is a really excellent way to get you out of the hustle and bustle by cycling through pretty paddy fields with rice and vegetable farming up close. You’ll learn how to grow rice and learn how it’s cultivated and harvested by the local farmers. It is also a good chance to capture idyllic sceneries of traditional Balinese houses, local schools, temples and meet all the pleasant locals on your way.
