See the Tarsiers in Bohol
Many travelers visit Bohol in the Philippines for the famous Chocolate Hills, the Man Made Forest or the beautiful beaches, but with natural lovers and animalists, the island of Bohol is home to the endangered Tarsiers, the world’s smallest primate. This cute yet agile species has allured both locals and visitors alike who are curious to know more about the magical creature and its habitat. If you’re one of them, take time to visit the Philippine Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary in Corella, Bohol. This center is the shelter of around 100 animals, a half of the world population of tarsiers. Though they are nocturnal creatures that sleep during the day time, a visit to the sanctuary gives you a high chance to see them in the wild. You can also take pictures without flash and quietly so as not to disturb the tarsiers resting up in trees.
