Puh Sarang Church

Located on the slope of Mount Wilis in Kediri city, Puh Sarang is a special Catholic church built in 1931 with a combination of medieval European architecture and Javanese design. The main building has made from stone without cement but tetes, while the roof was made of red bricks. Most religious symbols are placed inside red shrines with flowery reliefs, making it different from other churches. There you can see Lourdes' Maria Grotto, a replica of Maria Lourdes from France and the Via Dolorosa with unique full-scale sculptures of Lord Jesus carrying his cross as in the Bible story.
