Sunset at Ratu Boko Temple

Situated atop a hill at 196m above sea level, Ratu Boko temple is a perfect spot to admire a charming sunset over Yogyakarta. Built during the 8th century by the Syailendra Dynasty, this complex is actually the remains of a palace with several ancient temples. Climbing up to the top at sunset, you can take in the magnificent panoramic view around the complex in the orange sunlight and even see Prambanan Temple located about 3km from afar. During the sunset you can also enjoy the coffee and tea from the restaurant at Ratu Boko area.
